Camping in the GW National Forest in STYLE!

Met a nice Mennonite couple camping in the GW last week
Pretty darn cool!
They rode 17 miles to get there
Amazing set up!
Beautiful steeds!
Neat ol' wagon from Zanesville, Ohio
Water barrel with fresh water
One as a wash basin
Super cool adjustable grilling rack
They have been coming out for years and years...
Camping in our National Forest is a very fine time!

Afternoon MTB

Chainsaw cert with the US Forest Service is going well. First day was informative, and I'll get to do the cutting tomorrow. We got out a little earlier than I expected today, so look what I was able to sneek in after I got home...

No more snow in the mountains outside of Harrisonburg. Lynn and Wolf trails are riding well. Plenty of down limbs here and there that will get cleaned up soon, but very few large trees in the path. The work that SVBC did last year at the bottom of Wolf is suuuper fun. Got the remaining day of the chainsaw class in the morning, then hoping to get in a ride in the Edinburg Gap area after.

Georgia

Matt and Mike are showing some solid skillz
Sorry that Jake couldn't make this one
But, he is completing his USFS Chainsaw Certification this weekend

Ollie's Epic is soooooo close to perfection
Mike has been working on it for 4 years now

soooo many sweet dirt roads to ride the skinny's on
that must be why we call it the dirty south
2 days of road under the belt
time to head into the mountains for 2 days of trail

its needed so I can pass my guide certification test on the SDS ride
